The men’s and women’s cross country teams from Cal State San Marcos competed November 5, 2005, in the NAIA Region II Championships in Fresno. The women’s team placed second overall with a team score of 93. The men’s team placed third with a team score of 108. The event was hosted by Fresno Pacific University at Woodward Park. Both teams finished high enough in the competition to qualify for the NAIA National Championships, which will be held Saturday, Nov. 19, in Louisville, Kentucky.
