The College of Business Administration at California State University San Marcos will host a presentation by Stuart A. Passons, retired Vice President and Corporate Account Executive for DowBrands on Tuesday, Oct. 31 from 7:30 a.m. – 8:45 a.m. The presentation, titled “Change Management and New Performance Measurements,” will be held in Markstein Hall, Room 106 on the Cal State San Marcos campus.
Passons will address the specifics that arise when reengineering a business in the competitive marketplace, as well as the process of change management and new performance measurements implemented on organizations, functions and individuals.
At DowBrands, Passons managed commercial relationships with major customers such as Wal-Mart, Target, K-Mart, and Super Valu. He was also the business process owner for the reengineering effort at DowBrands and served as the chairman of the 1998, 1999 and 2000 Efficient Consumer Response conference. Passons is currently the assistant to the President at Dry Cleaners Secret and a guest instructor at the Morrison School of Management and Agribusiness on the Arizona State University Polytechnic campus.
